OwnerErica, owner of Helen Ainson Store in Darien Connecticut, offers gorgeous clothing and superior customer service. Her mother, Helen Ainson, opened the first store in New York City in 1948 and later opened a store in Greenwich, Connecticut. Erica worked at the store during high school and college and then opened Helen Ainson in Darien, Connecticut in 1977. She built her company on the principles her mother taught her. Over the years, Erica has hand-picked her staff of well-educated, professional stylists. Her team is highly trained in knowing how to outfit a woman for any occasion from head-to-toe. Each stylist shares Erica’s belief that one-on-one attention to each client is of the utmost importance. As always, Erica takes enormous pride in Helen Ainson’s reputation as the most sought after resource for women’s special occasion attire, sportswear and accessories in the Northeast. Erica is also very passionate about giving back to the Darien community. She ‘s involved with sponsorship of charitable community events, organizations and volunteering with the Darien Chamber of Commerce. She also hosts the Annual Toys For Tots Fashion Show and Toy Drive. This annual December event provides new toys for underprivileged children in the Fairfield County area. Erica has also held a successful Breast Cancer Fundraiser at her store. This event benefits the Smilow Breast Health Center of Norwalk Hospital.
